Be really careful-- scours are very contagious!!! The calves that still have scours must be treated with antobiotics and dehydration is the biggest problem from there-- you can treat them in the field if that's easier- sulfa drugs work great, but you also have to be aware that these great moms will clean a calf up so well that they don't have some symptoms-- get on it right away!! Just what you really want to do also if you're not good at IVs you can inject fluid under the skin (making saddle bags) and that will rehydrate the calves too. Remember it's very contagious-- if it's E.Coli you can get it too-- wash well, change shoes, etc. etc.
