"Beer Cans" is looking good, going into his 2nd year. He is growing very dark antlers. I plan to grow him hard horn.

As a spiker, his pedical bases were so large that only my index finger fit between them. I have noticed that this is not the case this year. They seemed to have moved farther apart, versus last year.

Possibly this is a result of his skull growing, I am not sure. Anyone else know anything about this?

Do bases move as the skull grows?
